The sponsor of adult education include departments of
the State Council; the administrative departments of education
in provinces, autonomous districts, cities directly under
the leading of the central; industry departments of machinery,
electron, city construction, environment protection, chemistry,
light industry, coal, metallurgy, railroad, traffic, and
agriculture; factories, mines, and enterprises; and governments
of counties and towns. At the same time, Organizations
of Labor unions, Communism Youth League, Women Unions
from each level also establish independently or cooperate
with education departments to establish training schools
or organizations within their own organization or district;
the democracy parties, social groups, academic groups,
economic organization and individuals also can hold adult
education organizations to provide remediation and training
courses, professional technique education courses and
social and cultural education courses.
The adult
education organization provide various study styles for
their students, open courses on arts, science, engineering,
agriculture, iatrology, finance, politics and legislation,
education and physical education, and decide teaching
contents according to the students' need under the prerequisite
of ensuring the degree education standard. Take the education
of peasants as example, the adult education in the rural
areas have developed from pure illiteracy-elimination
in the past to a training system of agriculture, forest,
herding, fishing needed by production development and
cultural knowledge combined with knowledge about industry,
commerce, construction, transportation, and service. |
